Why my Google chrome crashes every time when I try to open Facebook?

I have also experienced the similar problem. I was quite perturbed by the way things were moving at my end. Whenever, I logged on to Facebook the Google chrome browser used to crash. It was profoundly frustrating and now, what I think is that it is an activity of virus, which is plaguing the entire operation of chrome. It would have been amazing if you could have given me slight information on the antivirus that you are using. If the antivirus happens to be a free copy then I am afraid it will never be able to detect and catch the virus, since virus keeps on changing on a frequent note which is not the case with antivirus that also a free copy.

Now, what I would like to tell is, you will have to upgrade your antivirus software from free version to full and enterprise version. I have Norton 2011 full version virus with updated virus definition and it had cost me anywhere around $100 which was able to detect the same problem of crashing of the Google chrome.
