Gizmo is a VoIP software based service that uses your broadband internet connection to make calls to other phones and computers. It comes with a lot of free things, including free calls to landline (PSTN) and mobile phones to people in 60 countries. Just like Skype software, you have to download the Gizmo software and install it and register for a new account. The feature in Gizmo includes- Free PC to PC calls to any other Gizmo user, free landline calls to landline and mobile phones over 60 countries and free voicemail service. Gizmo uses SIP standard to route and connect calls, while Skype uses its own P2P standard proprietary system. Both have their advantages and disadvantages: P2P is stronger, while SIP welfare companies more with its rich features. Since SIP is getting more popular day by days. Therefore, Gizmo has put many chances on its side by accepting SIP standard. Gizmo allows conference calling. Gizmo is new software lunched on the market and since its entry on the market; it has not been growing faster. You have to download and register with a new account in Gizmo to active the services.
