gddr3 vs ddr3: Which one is better?

A graphics card would be the next addition to my gaming rig. I have asked my best sources and finally decided it would be either a a GDDR3 vs DDR3. The GDDR3 model is a little expensive then the DDR3. A small difference close to $25 why is that. I want to know what is the difference between these two type of graphics card. I suppose the difference is minute looking at the cost. But I might be mistaken. Please sketch a difference between two and if there is a better option on same price please suggest.

Starting with some basic information the full form of both are DDR = Double data rate. GDDR = Graphics double data rate. DDR is used for system RAM, GDDR is used for graphics. Just go on price, there will be no noticeable difference in performance, 1 or 2 FPS is all. The HIS card as per my experience will be the better quality card and as you said it’s an Ice Q version it will come with the cooler that exhausts the hot air out of the back of the case which I prefer over the standard fan which simply circulates air within the case. Overall, just find out what is considered a reference design for the GPU you want and get that. It will then have the same performance as 80% of the other cards on the market using that GPU.
