We have taken a particular interest in the portable version of Binreader. This is a Windows download that requires no installation. Simply load the files on the flash drive and run it from any place, very cool! In addition, the NZB client Binreader available for Windows, Mac OS X (requires mplayer for streaming download) and Ubuntu / Kubuntu / Debian versions of Linux. With a newsreader Android in the works.
Their are some key features that help Binreader stand out. For the first time in the ease of customer use. We will demonstrate in a moment, but is the easiest news reader I've used for a long time. It has a simple purpose. NZB file downloading and streaming. A function that performs very well.
Binreader includes some premium news reader. Especially considering it's free. First, the client allows the flow of content for download. Also extracted RAR and PAR files are automatically repaired. Even better it will pause and download PAR files only if necessary. Now let's look at the readers.
The first step is to download Binreader. In our case we chose the version of Windows laptop and loaded into the pendrive. No install, just pure goodness of Usenet.
The first adjustment will have to check is the maximum number of connections. Binreader defaults to 4, but can be set to 50. Tip: use only the minimum number of connections needed to achieve the desired speed. More waste of resources. The next setting is great "Only download PAR2 repair blocks, if after incomplete." That is checked by default and will save you from downloading PAR files unless necessary. The second option "Automatically download the repair (with PAR2)" is equally important. Binreader We do the work for you. While the third option is not enabled by default, the customer remove the files from the download list when finished, if you want. If they are easy to clean.
We leave the handling RAR default "to start extracting while downloading." The download folder is important. Especially if you decide to run Binreader a miniature device as we did.By default, the contents are maintained in a downloads folder in the Applications folder Binreader. This is easy to change. For those who use the reader in a normal environment, the default is suitable. We do not edit any of the other settings. Now it was time to test some newsgroup downloads. First we had to find a good NZB file for testing. We went to find a NZB NZB.cc Ubuntu.
