Are there any free http web proxy?


Hi guys, I am a college student and I am looking for free https web proxy sites. Actually our college has banned the use of social networking sites like Facebook and twitter, using Net gear. This has made it possible for us to go to these pages. But yesterday I saw one of my classmates using Facebook and when I asked him how he did this, he told me that he used one of the proxy websites to login to his page. Can anyone help me with some free http web proxy websites? Also is it safe to use them to use our accounts?
