What to do for flashing bios in windows ?

My computer is showing me this "BIOS Rom Checksum Error" when I try to boot up my computer. I can't go into the BIOS, too. It only gives me that error on a black screen with occasionally saying Detecting IDE Atadpti device. I read around and found that I need a new BIOS. My question is, how do I flash a new bios without windows, or through the old bios. I have tried using drdflash to make a boot disk with AWDFlash and my new bios version on it. Please help me out on flashing bios in windows?

Hi, I'm new to the forum and wanted to know if anyone can help me with this problem because it is driving me crazy.

It turns out that a couple of weeks ago I was digging into the BIOS and, as I could not do what I wanted and return everything back, I gave the option Load Best Performance Settings and from that moment my life changed for the worse obviously. It turns out that the PC made me way slower than it was before and what I find strange is that when I open a program, as well as take a long time to open.

The first thing before anything else, set up the factory settings in the bios and not configure anything so that may affectsobreextraño also be interesting to update this with the latestversion for your motherboard. It will work based on the Abit NF7Bios-S and many motherboards changes in some parameters, I ask that I notifiqueis those parameters that are not named in the guide, which will include explaining its function.

Drive A: NONE (turn it off because I do not use except for floppy and bios, but it is so timely the case, I'm not worth it, on or off according to the preferences of each).
