What can I do to fix my GPS system so that it turns on properly?

I just purchased a Garmin 2595LMT. First I don't see in the manual how to turn it on. I had mounted it in the vehicle and when I started the vehicle it turned on. Next time I started the vehicle, it would not turn on. Finally I brought it in the house and plug it into the charge cord. At first it would not turn on. After about 5 minutes, it turned on. Then put back into vehicle and went thru the same cycle again. Why won't the GPS turn on? What can I do to fix the problem? What can I do to fix my GPS system so that it turns on properly? Please advice. Thanks.

Hi i am vento the gps maps are designed to help you locate your position on the earth find a destination and track your travel. The satellites are programmed to either triangulate your position using multiple satellites or determine the amount of time it takes to receive a signal from your gps unit relative to a known point on earth.Turn on your gps system and locate your current location on the gps map. Most gps systems automatically search for your current location when the device is turned on.Then view the home screen and search for a current location option. If you can not locate this function review the owner's manual for the gps system. gps systems mostly employ touch-screen technology so you can physically touch the screen to make a selection. Some gps units navigate by using buttons located next to the screen. A command will be placed next to each button.Choose Find current location or a similar command.Thank you
