I bought an ipod just a few months ago. It was one of those things which was kept in very safe custody of me. But what happened a few days ago that the device fell from my hand and got broken. I felt so bad because the device was the rsult of some hard saving done by me. I cannot buy a new one right now, so I want to get my that iPod nano fixed somehow. You can try these five steps which are known as the five R's. It would conquer most iPod issues. http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/. Try to put the iPod into Disk Mode if it fails to appear on the desktop. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93651. If none of the above has worked for you, then you should try the following: Try to connect your iPod with another computer with the iPod updater pre-installed. Still can’t see your iPod, put it in disk mode and connect with a computer. Instead, opt for an iPod Low Level Format. It will help you solve this issue.
