firefox and chrome which one is better?

I have bought a new laptop which is running on windows 7 and it has internet explorer as default web browser. But I do not like it because of its slow speed so I am looking for some other web browsers. I know about two main browser firefox and chrome but do not know which one is better and which one has more options and flexibility. If someone has any idea or know about it please share

I've always been a huge fan of Firefox for years , but it seems like Google Chrome is coming in lime light now. Firefox was always famous and popular in the market. Features like multiple tab management, organizing tabs, personalized feel, changing themes, additional add-on infrastructures, importing ability from other browsers, saving bookmarks and organizing them, private browsing to eliminate cookie and cache storage temporarily, etc always gave it majority market. But now, chrome seems like breaking it’s records.

Firstly, i would start recommending why one should use Firefox and where does Chrome make the difference. Few features like practically unlimited add-on support makes Firefox off the grid. One can find add-on for almost every purpose; from translating texts and scripts to powerful advertisement blockers. It is best known for graphic designers, web-developers, programmers and designers. One of the major drawbacks of this browser is, that it in many cases, it freezes for few seconds(recommended in Windows Xp and Windows 7).

As a result, Chrome in short period is breaking back bone of Firefox and its die-hard add-ons. The fact is, Google Chrome has lately fixed a lot of problems that Firefox users were not even aware about the issues they had at back end. Additions to add-ons have been lately integrated in Chrome with similar extension and 3rd party plugins. Stability and compatibility with all type of machines and configuration is also noticed.

So, if you are looking forward for checking emails and doing handful of work in your browser, my vote will be for Chrome. If you are a designer in any field, have piles of work, and few pages needs to be visited almost every time, go for Firefox.
