Why I am finding trouble accessing certain Blackberry torch apps?

I have a brand new Blackberry torch. On a Vodafone contract, with 750 MB of 3g internet a month and unlimited blackberry email. I updated the Facebook app to the latest and downloaded eBay App and both apps won't work saying that ‘you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application.’ I wondered why and what to do? Also can you downgrade apps once you have updated them? Why I am finding trouble accessing certain Blackberry torch apps? What can I do to fix it? Thanks.

Blackberry Torch is a series of smartphone manufactured by Research in Motion. The lineup currently consists of 9800,9810 and 9860. Many users are complaining about the same problem so I am going to suggest you some possible solutions which you should try out--:

1.Firstly, you should take out your phone's battery and sim card and replace it again.

2.If this doesn't works, then, upgrading your Operating system to .246 as the installed OS is unable to support the downloaded apps.

3.Check whether your data services is turned on.In order to check go to manage connections-->mobile network options-->data services and ensure that it is on.

Well, a lot many good torch apps are available on the internet like BerryWeather, BerryBuzz, Tether, SmrtGuard, Google Maps and even the new Wallpaper Changer Pro.You can easily download them according to your necessity from the blackberry website. Some of these apps are free while some are paid.Yes, you can downgrade apps but you need to be connected to a wireless carrier network.
