Why I am not able to find GPS map on my Mac although I have downloaded it twice?

It seems the bundle of problems occurred while using the product.

Garmin Map manger can be uninstalled and reinstall in order to resolve the problem.

• Click the Garmin Lifetime Updater icon at the top of your screen (blue triangle)
• Click Quit
• Click Go
• Click Applications
• Click Garmin Lifetime Updater to re-launch the application

Uninstall and Reinstall the application

In any instances, where an issue may exist that will require the application to be removed from your system and re-installed.

To remove Garmin Lifetime Updater from your Mac drag the following files and folders into your Trash, then empty the Trash.

• Open Macintosh HD
• Click on the Applications folder
• Drag the Garmin Lifetime Map Updater.app to the trash
• Click on User folder
• Choose the house icon (current user name)
• Click on Library
• Click on Preferences
• Drag com.garmin.LifetimeMapUpdate.plist file to the trash

Installation of the Garmin Map:

Again when you download and install the map download the map in its .tgz format. Just double click the file to un-achieved it to a .gmapi format. Double click the .gmapi file to open MapManager and press the [Install] button. Once the mapset is installed (it will alert you to this), press the [Quit] button. The mapset is now installed.

By any chance if you are trying to download files by any other means, the default download location is Under Preferences, and then My Downloads
