Until now we have been merely feeling as touching on a screen that simply responds to the touches (either in capacitive or resistive ways). In fact, Feel Screen will realize a new gaming environment on our smartphones and tablets as the objects and events of games can be well felt in mind as we glide fingers over the touchscreen.

Another application of the upcoming screen technology is that it could be made for blind people’s use. As they won’t be able to see what are on the screen, they can recognize the items as every texture on the screen can be identified on touching the screen. If the touchscreen is more pressure sensitive, Feel Screen technology could also be used in many more applications like video chatting and handling the entire device in a simple and wonderful way.
