Why fc command not working properly?

I overcame this annoyance after creating a shortcut for desktop and setting Properties to Run as an Administrator. just do the following... Go to Start >Programs and open the Accessories folder given- Right-click on, and keep holding down the right-click, then drag the cursor to the black Command Prompt icon to inside the vacant area that you see on your desktop. select 'click' option and 'Create shortcut here' from the list of the choices that are provided. Now you will see a new, black Command Prompt icon around. Right click on that new icon, followed by- select 'Properties' and click the Shortcut tab below. Now click on the “Advanced” button that is provided at the bottom to run the program.. thank you..
