Could you explain me about how these 3d cameras work?

Well, I want to know about 3d cameras and what the concept behind making these 3d cameras is. I have never experienced such types of cameras. Actually, I have heard about Nintendo 3d cameras but if I want to purchase any one of such cameras, which 3d camera would be better? Could you explain me about how these 3d cameras work? i need a best piece for better video and picture. Please help me.

3d cameras create the illusion of depth by the way the images are captured. It is compulsory to have two photographs in order to make a stereoscopic image. This can be done with the help of two cameras, with one camera placed in two positions, or with a stereo camera that has incorporated in it two or more side-by-side lenses. The two different angles of the image create the stereoscopic effect. Stereo lenses can turn an ordinary camera into a stereo camera by using double lens to take two images and direct them through a single lens to capture them side-by-side on the film. It is also possible to make a two camera rig, together with a "shepherd" device that would help to synchronize the shutter and flash of the two cameras. By mounting two cameras on a bracket, spacing them slightly, it makes for a mechanism to make both the cameras take pictures at the same time. This is basically how the stereoscopic cameras work. The best 3d camera available in the market today is the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W3 Digital Camera. The camera has 2 sets of fujinon lenses that work in the same way as human eye does and creates the phenomenon of parallax. The two 10 megapixel sensors, the Fine Pix 3D W3 captures even the finest of details. The synchronized control of the two sensors and lenses prevents inaccuracy between the two images and makes a perfectly matched pair of images, when combined, makes a single image with a natural sense of depth.
