ESCORT demos SmartRadar Bluetooth enabled Radar Detector and Live Ticket protection app

Internationally renowned maker of premium automotive products and accessories ESCORT Inc. is showcasing its Bluetooth enabled SmartRadar Radar/Laser Detector in New York this week at the press event for the 2012 ShowStoppers for the Digital Holidays. The detector is designed for car owners and driver who want to install a no-fuss radar detector on their vehicles. The SmartRadar is a laser/radar detector which is designed to connect with the company’s ticket protection network app called the ESCORT Live. The app helps drivers access information on the network regarding speed traps, speed-ticketing camera locations and red lights.

The GPS feature on the radar detector allows users to access the database for route optimization via live traffic alerts, over-speed limit alerts and posted speed limit information etc. The supercharged detector is designed to be installed out of the driver’s sight behind the rear view mirror on the windshield. The detector syncs to a user’s smartphone or other devices through the ESCORT Live app via Bluetooth and provides them with useful alert along a route. The SmartRadar is offered in SuperWide Ka, Ka and X radar capabilities which allows it to reduce false alarms by digitally processing the signal f the full laser detection. The new ESCORT SmartRadar radar/laser detector is currently available for purchase at the their online store for $449.95 while the ESCORT Live ticket protection app for the iPhone and Android can be downloaded from Apple’s online store and Google Play respectively.
