Erascan is an advanced whiteboard eraser cum digital scanner. While erasing, the device stores contents on a whiteboard as digital images. Erascan is simply designed with an aim to help users keep digital copies of their whiteboard content, which may include texts, images, sketches, e-mail IDs, website addresses or anything else.

Erascan is programmed to identify handwritings, drawings, emails, URLs and others. The gadget comes with an integrated memory chip and a tiny LCD display. It stores the content onto the memory. Amazingly, you can share the stored content via emails wirelessly. Meanwhile, the LCD shows the scanned content during erasing.

Moreover, the LCD screen features a simple menu that helps users select various functions. While it is in power mode, the letter ā€˜e’ and the white pipe around Erascan illuminate. The device is so handy that you can simply take it in your hands while erasing the whiteboard. It becomes highly helpful as it can also be used to send the erased information directly to your emails.

Needless to mention, Erascan should be a great pick for schools, colleges, offices and even for homes. Teachers can simply store the information once written on the whiteboard digitally. Moreover, it will help creative children draw images on whiteboard and store them converting to digital form.

A team of six designers has designed Erascan for MIMOS Berhad. The individuals behind the digital eraser and scanner include Mohd Rohaizam Mohd Tahar, Nuzairi Yasin, Saharudin Busri, Mohd Nizam Najmuddin, and Nazjimee Amat Omar.
