Yamaha has introduced a family of 4 new and re-designed string instruments, Pearl White Silent String Quartet that offer the flexibility of silent play to string and brass musicians. Yamaha is the only company to offer a quartet of Silent string instruments in one package. The package contains two silent violin SV-200, one silent viola SVV-200 and one silent cello SVC-100.
The silent instruments hold dual Piezo pickups maple neck, 2 EQ modes and built-in output jack. The fragmented neck of SV-200 makes it appear like an acoustic instrument. Moreover, the package contains real ebony tail piece, chin rest and the lower bout to accommodate a standard shoulder rest. The group is priced at $4,966.
