Apparently, cell phone has emerged as the ultimate device of the age, and perhaps, the way manufacturers are squeezing the little device with more and more features, it will soon emerge as a most powerful tool in our hands.

Take for example, the latest 'xVista' system for checking an individual's identity with the help of iris scan. The $3.4 million concept, developed by University of Sussex, maps the iris of an individual and is compatible with camera phones and other computing devices.

The iris map is stored in the form of templates into the database and the system matches identity from a database of 1,000,000 irises in less than one second. So now, you just have to show off your sleek camera phone to show who you are.
