
Dell has introduced two new products keeping in mind the hard core gamers.
The XPS710 gaming desktop and an Ultra sharp 3007WFP-HC.
The gamer desktop is equipped with Intel’s Core 2 Extreme QX6700 processor, which according to Dell improves the performance of the PC by 55%. A claim refuted by CNET guys.
The PC is Windows Vista ready and is priced at $3,699 with Dells limited 2-years warranty.
The system uses 750W of power supply. For additional $100 you can easily upgrade to Special Edition Formula Red model which will guzzle 1Kw power.

The other product is the Ultra sharp 3007WFP-HC widescreen monitor. Dell claims that its monitor features NTSC color space of 92% while the other present in the market cover it only to 72%. Dell has achieved it by the use of Wide cold-cathode Fluorescent Lighting (W-CCFL) backlight.
The monitor has 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA) resolution and a 8ms response time. The monitor has not one but 4 USB2.0 ports and has an integrated 9-in-2 media reader.
The monitor is priced at $1699.
