Xpod : An iPod that plays the apt music by reading your mood

Though this post is not a recent one, however, I believe it is an interesting one so have taken the liberty to include it in my post. Ever heard of an iPod that interacts with its user? Guess not! But it does exist and the incredible device is called an XPod. Developed by a team of researchers at The University Of Maryland, Baltimore, the device can understand the user's emotions and activity and thereby selecting the apt music to suit the mood. After an initial training period, the XPod is able to use its internal algorithms to make an educated selection of the song that would best fit its user's emotion and situation.
