X-Plore.XGX glove guides you through ski slopes with integrated GPS

We were highly impressed by the Transcend Ski Goggles that featured a Head Mounted Display to show speed, altitude, time, temperature and GPS coordinates. Now to match the goggles, Zanier has announced the X-Plore.XGX GPS equipped gloves. Like the Transcend Goggles, the gloves would also be made available sometime later this year, which mean you only get to experience their benefit in the winters next year. But for the inquisitives, it’s fitting to inform Zanier is creating these gloves with full GPS functionality, which would provide skiers with altitude, speed, distance, duration and other route info, which they can upload to the web via USB. Drawing power from a from an integrated lithium-ion battery, the glove shows all this data on a monochrome display embedded on to its thumb. No word on the price yet, but I can already hear the cries for this one.
