Humans are social animals but some try hard to literally become one. You may call the man lunatic or a great inventor just gone overboard thats your opinion but I think its a cool idea to spend your spare time. Nate got obsessed by the character of Wolverine in X-Men and wanted to dress up like him for his Halloween party.

So Nate the student of Athens Ohio University got down to build fully functional claws (extendable/retraceable) and dress for the party. The outfit was visualized, conceived and conceptualized by Nate.

Here the step -by-step account of his invention:

1st Enlarged copy of Wolverine claws from E-Men that allowed him to print out the image onto the 1-inch X1/8- inch aluminum flat bars.

2nd Trace the image onto a piece of wood so that they could be cut to 1-inch X 13-inch pieces. a length found appropriate to fit in the back arm of Nate.

3rd Now, Nate headed for his grandfathers barn were he cut the wood out on a band saw, sanded it on a vertical standing belt slander. The aluminum claws were then cut out very carefully. Then the claws were put on wire brush wheel to give them a brushed up look.

4th to develop a retraceable and extended system a sliding keyboard try was used but was modified to be much shorter and used only 8 ball bearings. Then bolts were put through the sliders and a galvanizing metal was used to attach the first claw. The other two were drilled with it. Bolts and screws were used to keep the claws firmly at there place.

5th the fabric left from making the suit was used was used to make a harness for the claws and holes were drilled to keep the claws tight.

Well that was it and Nate had its claws and a dress like Wolverine. A most accurate copy that you would have ever seen.
