
Isn’t it an absolute fun to watch a plane or helicopter soar high above the sky under your control? Well, RC toys take your remote control adventures to new levels. WowWee, a robotics and entertainment products company shares the LEONARDO DA VINCI‘S 15th-century vision of mechanical flight mirrored in his drawings. Wowwee is not a new name to all of us. We have already discussed a number of times about the WowWee’s innovative products.

Now, WowWee is all set to release the functional Ornithopter, which is a radio-controlled toy helicopter that flies like bird. Sean Frawley, an aerospace engineering graduate and inventor of the FlyTech Dragonfly has taken his inspiration from an insect. The robotic Dragonfly will fly once again at the American International Toy Fair, which is the largest toy trade show in the west held in Newsyork.
We have already talked about the Robosapien that was showcased at the CES 2007 show in Las Vegas. Now, WowWee is working on radio-controlled vehicle to be released this very year and will walk on four spidery, multi-jointed legs. The robo-vehicle dubbed Roboquad will be hitting the shelves for $100.
