The 108V-inch LCD monitor is going to be placed in the Shinjuku Piccadilly Cinema Complex in Tokyo. Being the worlds largest, Sharp is getting some positive publicity, when it comes to producing some grade A stuff. When the Cinema opens July 19th, we shall see the awesome power of the massive monitor. The Monitor will be setup on the 3rd floor lobby where all can marvel at its awe-inspiring grace. It is truly a wonder and I sure hope someone doesn’t steal that. You’d have to have a couple hand trucks and half a dozen men to pick that thing up.
If I had the money, which I don’t, I’d buy one of these and then display it in the town square for a day with trained armed guards by it so no one steals it. I would do that just to show it off, then I’d take it home and watch some killer Matrix moves on it and then pick up a little Law and Order action. All the while in High-Def.
You can’t beat that experience though. Although, I do wish Sony would come out with something like that, I doubt it will ever happen. I can tell you though, if Sony came out with that, you could probably take the size of the screen and multiple it by 100, give or take a zero, and you’d get your price for a Sony TV of that size.
