Evolution hasn’t taken us a long way; perhaps an overstatement, but don’t we still have those basic electronics that we used years back? Yes. Even though the advancement of the internet has put email as the ultimate way of electronic messaging, fax machines have kept up the pace too.
Now, taking a yard over the former, Panasonic has delivered a high-tech paperless fax machine, the KX-PW608, allowing users to directly type fax messages on a cordless handset and then convert the digital files into fax messages. Working without the fed paper, the KX-PW608 can handle Word docs and files saved in other formats, PDF and the like, while the machine’s big built-in buttons and LCD screen make it easy for typing and reading messages. The paperless fax machine will be available by the end of January, but only in Japan to begin with.
