After fueling your laptops and cell phones, lithium batteries are now ready to set the wheels rolling and give stiff competition to other hybrid vehicles. Hybrid Technologies has revealed the World’s first lithium polymer battery powered vehicle that’ll take you for 300 miles on a single charge.
The breakthrough lithium Polymer batteries will replace the unproductive Nickel Metal Hydride batteries that stores power to take you for only 100 miles and will also stand parallel to gasoline vehicles.
The system can be incorporated in any car and it successfully gave mileage of 300 miles with the Smart car when tested at an average speed of 100 mph. The batteries manufactured by Kokam Corporation take just 5 hours to charge.
