World's first ever 300GB 2.5″ Hard Disk Drive by Fujitsu

Looking for a new hard drive for your laptop? Just hang on for a while, for Fujitsu has proclaimed the MHX2300BT series of mobile SATA hard disk drives offering remarkable storage capacities of 250GB and 300GB in as small as 2.5-inch size, possibly the smallest Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) hard disk drives to rotate at 4200rpm and hit the 300GB mark in the entire hard drive market. The MHX2300BT hard disk drives' other major specifications are:

Apart from these specs the MHX2300BT consumes very low power (1.6W) and can endure high shock, making it most sought-after for audio/video (A/V) applications, for instance gaming, video editing, audio recording and DVR functionality, in addition to the hard computing. No exact words on pricing but we may expect the shipping of new MHX2300BT in the first quarter of 2007.
