This is one of those rare projects, which will change the definition of display. Innovation Lab have been co-operating with Christoffer Dupont, student of engineering; Lene Langballe, student of architecture and Dalton Beton (a Danish manufacturer of concrete components) on a screen made of transparent concrete.
The screen is made up of concrete with optical fibers layered inside it as pixels. The fibers are positioned at the back of the screen from where the light is made to enter from any source like a projector and the same is displayed on front on form of pixels. The optical fibers simply absorb the light and transmit it to the screen, which just acts as a window.
This new concept will be of great use in designing buildings etc. you can view the working on this video.
