
Chi Mei Optoelectronics of Taiwan, the third largest LCD TV panel supplier in the world, will showcase the world’s first 56-inch LCD TV panel with Quad Full High Definition (QFHD) 3840 x 2160 resolution and 8.29 million pixels at CEBIT next month.
The resolution is the highest achieved till now. Above 24.8 million units of transistors make up the panel especially designed to counter excessive heat. The data transmission speed of the panel is 1.4 gigabytes per second.
