World's first 24-inch touchscreen LCD monitor for harsh environments
Stealth Computer have released the world's first ever widescreen LCD monitor having a touchscreen interface. Enclosed in a steel frame, the new model, the SV-2400 Industrial Grade Panel Mount LCD monitor, is meant for harsh environments typically found inside the industrial arenas. The NEMA 4/IP56 LCD front-panel is capable of withstanding the impacts of water, moisture, dirt, dust and rough and tough hurried human usage. SV-2400 LCD has a pixel count of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Other attributes include 16:10 aspect ratio, low power consumption and compatibility with both analog and digital inputs, 160 degrees of viewing angle and contrast ratio of 1000:1. Moreover, Stealth's LCD will not require any special interface cards or video drivers. SV-2400 LCD is going to be ideal for scenarios such as human-machine interface, kiosks, process control, automation and so on.

Touchscreens are a common form of human-computer interaction, especially if there is going to be an open-air, harsh and hurried interaction. However, what takes the SV-2400 LCD apart is it's widescreen 24" size. Touchscreens have their own perks; however, the stress they cause on human fingers is perhaps the reason why they haven't been very popular. Let's see if Stealth's LCD has addressed this issue!
