World's fastest 310mph maglev bullet train to zip through Japan soon!

For all speed aficionados, this is one train; you ought not to miss it. Japan’s symbolic 50 year old Bullet train is all set to add a new chapter to it with a flash light speed of 310 miles per hour. This proposed bullet train will work on the principle of magnetic levitation that will enable the train to simply float rather than slide on the track, reducing friction at the same time.

This dethrones China from the record of blazing world’s fastest bullet train- CRH380 a.k.a Silver Sliver that trails at a whopping speed of 220 m.p.h. and outruns a distance of 126 miles in 45 minutes. Running between the link of Tokyo and Nagoya, it is estimated that this project will sweep the Japanese and its probable partners in US at a whopping amount of £40billion. It will also boost traveler’s preference to rails over flights in the country.

Furthermore, If rumors are to be believed, this project is already giving sleepless nights to US President, Barack Obama who is busy mulling a £33billion fast-speed rail network connecting US popular sites including Chicago, St Louis, Orlando, Miami, Portland and Seattle.

Japanese first hit off the concept of Bullet trains or Shinkansen (known initially) in 1964 during Tokyo Olympics and have travelled way too far. And with this new bullet train up in sleeve, it seems it isn’t enough to just run fast trains in Japan, as they even need to cause Hurricanes while zipping through the rail tracks!
