Cutting-edge technology adds more vigorous intensity to transmission speeds, with the smallest and world’s fastest System on a Chip. National Taiwan University revealed a new invention called System on a Chip, which guarantees to be very efficient, with transmission speeds at 100 times faster than Wi-Fi — awesome indeed. The chip measures only 0.5mm, and is almost one-tenth the size of existing chips. It perfectly combines the RF Front-End Circuits with antenna array, to hit the highest transmission speeds. Demonstrated at the University, this chip could be attached to all AV devices, revolutionizing the downloading activity.
Price and Availability:
This small yet immensely fast innovation could cost very little when compared with other chips. According to the developers, the chip would be 1/10 the cost of the existing communication modules and could be priced as low as $1. With the patent application underway there is no word on the availability, however we hope it is up and selling at the earliest.
Watch This:
Downloading movies and music has begun to almost overtake purchasing or renting discs. Lack of adequate high speed connectivity is a major hindrance worldwide, but the chip assures downloading a 4G DVD film in under 10 seconds, therefore, we see the introduction of the System on a Chip redefining the huge potential market, once it finds refuge in mobile gadgetry.
