World’s largest digital photo: 45-gigapixel panoramic image of Dubai

Using GigaPan’s Epic Pro mount, photographer Gerald Donovan clicked a 45-gigapixel panoramic image of Dubai’s landscape, which very fittingly is dubbed the world’s largest photo or the largest billboard, as you may like. Almost the size of 1,200 billboards, the image consisting of 4,250 shots was clicked using a Cannon 7D camera. The picture isn’t perfectly clear, but Donovan using the Autopano stitching software has efficiently put all the photos together for a very large image we’d just love to see.
