One fine day Lauren Rosenberg was walking down the streets, using Google maps for walking directions between two addresses in Park Utah. One set of directions included the walk for half a mile along Deer Park Drive. But, the lane turned out to be another name for State Route 224, which by the way happens to be a rural highway with no sidewalks at all. Google thought that anybody with eyes and intellect enough to use the maps would be intelligent enough too to see that its not wise to walk on a busy road. So, it turns out that lady took the suing to another level by filling a law suit against the giants by saying that she has incurred the medical bills of approximately $100,000 with the loss of her earrings and some other damages. Apparently, there was no warning of missing sidewalks on her phone.

It is mentioned, “As a direct and proximate cause of Defendant Google's careless, reckless and negligent providing of unsafe directions, Plaintiff Lauren Rosenberg was led onto a dangerous highway, and was thereby stricken by a motor vehicle, causing her to suffer severe permanent physical, emotional and mental injuries." She says that she has Well, with this law suite, Google will be more specific from now on I guess. Moral of the story is law suit just got weirder and dumb.
