With secure <strike>E-Key</strike> UNICA key, jammed locks and burglary is history

Designed by Chiara Ripalti, E-Key UNICA key is a square device master key especially designed to reduce the mess of so many keys and also to give you security. The best part is that it actually doesn’t look like a key, being not even bigger than your thumb. This small yet wonderful key, which makes me call it a small wonder, consists of a customized cover, LED indicator and a fingerprint cup. It works on the fact that everyone has different fingerprints, making it secure and easier to use than the traditional keys. When you place your fingers in the finger cup groove, a USB plug comes out from the key and then all you have to do is insert the extended plug into your lock. The moment you do so, The door will open with the LED indicator giving you a signal. You can use it as a master key for your home, office, car and even bank locker.

It is pretty easy and secure, especially when I take in consideration the number of times my house was robbed (thank god I did not have anything in the house) and number of times my lock was jammed in the freezing cold of midnight. And, as no one else can use it when customized to match my fingerprints, I think I have a good chance to lock my better half outside for not letting me watch my favorite soap.
