Commuting on bikes and skateboards requires more effort than many of us want to put in. Therefore, some use public transport to avoid this, while a few build their own commuters to travel. DIYer Andres Guzman belongs to the latter group of creative individuals. For his comfort in travelling around the campus of University of Illinois where he is majoring in computer engineering, Andres has built himself a wirelessly controlled mountainboard. This Lithium iron phosphate battery powered mountainboard uses brushless motor to drive the rear axle courtesy a chain, and is wirelessly controlled by a PlayStation 2 controller, which sets it apart from the other mountainboards and electric skateboards we’ve seen in the past.
