Wiping off dust from a few antique microcomputers

Posted By: Vikas Shekhawat | May 20 2006

Riding on the sleek and swift Macs and Origamis we have left these to be smeared by the dust of time, but we forget that these oddities too deserve some share of respect for their contribution in the development of the whole phenomenon called computing.

Allan Hoiberg too believes in the same idea and has compiled and paid homage to a few of strange microcomputers from the late 1970s and early 1980s. The antiques include the Jupiter ACE, the Mattel Aquarius, Cambridge Z88 notepad, the Amstrad NC100 and the Commodore PET 64 'Frankenputer'.

Check out the detailed coverage of all of these antique masterpieces.

Thanks: Allan Hoiberg
