Wii Nunchucks controlled four-legged robot walks just well

This spider looks so freakin’, but the four legged genius has been done well to be what it is. Creepy in appearance the robot’s high on function. Drew has got this mechanical walker to be controlled by two modified Wii Nunchucks. Churned out in a steel plate, copper, aluminum tubing, brass, a pair of XBee radio modules for communication, Pololu micro SSC board and eight HX12K servos and 7.4V 1100mAh lithium-polymer battery for power. Amusement is the main purpose Drew’s got this arachnid together for about a $1000, and once you see this thing moving, you’ll agree that it actually entertains. Check out Drew’s Flickr photo set for the video.
