It is time to think beyond the regular remote controlled cars that need a watchful guardian (the user!) to keep the wireless trail alive.
Then and Now: Earlier, it was just a normal, large-sized remote controlled car that you couldn’t drive beyond the line of sight. Now, it is an advanced Wi-Fi robot car that can be operated through the internet or a computer over a distance of half a kilometer. The eye of the robot is a network camera that feeds you with live track information so that you know where this feisty thing is heading.
GW Analysis: We believe it is an amazing hack. Putting together an advanced long-range wirelessly operated car with a basic second-hand RC wheeler (acquired for a measly $5) is no mean achievement. We would love to get our hands on this one.
