What is great about Sidekick II
T-mobile has launched an exclusive new phone, the Sidekick II in the UK. It has already had success in the US and is a sort of mobile/PC hybrid that is really appealing.

What is great about the Sidekick II is that the phone comes with a full keyboard and folding TFT screen. The resolution of the screen is 240 x 160 pixels. The phone also synchronizes automatically with your PC's desktop at a simple touch. It also allows internet browsing, and is supported for AOL instant messaging.
The Sidekick II also comes with the host of some usual features like the speakerphone, Tri-band GSM and GPRS. There is an obvious absence of bluetooth in the phone. The phone gives you around four-and-a-half hours of talk time after a single charge, and about 60 hours of a standby time.
The phone boasts of a design gives a nice PC on-the-go look to the phone. The absence of MP3 playback is the most notable missing feature in the phone. The camera is also a bit of a disappointment, with a blurred 640 x 480 VGA resolution.
At the end of the day, the Sidekick II is a capable entry-level internet browser phone.
