The gadget world is the fastest progressing world of the century. Gadgets are getting smaller and are incorporating technology that we cannot even see in a Sci-Fi movie. Well, all this technology is real and will be available in the near future.
As Hardware is getting smaller, less visible and thinner than ever before the volume of information we handle is expanding at an accelerated rate. And the Software technology is also keeping pace with the hardware to make the future gadgets amazing in all respects.
With all these parameters in mind NEC, designers have created design possibilities of the near future gadgets. Let's take a look at some of these gadgets, which will change our way of living forever.
TAG:
Tag is a soft-shell mobile phone that we can bend and tilt around any way we want.
The mobile phone is not only soft but also flexible you can wrap it around your arm like a bracelet and can also hang it from a belt. The material of this flexible mobile phone will memorize its shape and will change its shape according to the mode selected by you. That means just like we change profiles to change the ring tones and wallpapers of today's phone you will also be able to change the shape of your phone in future.
Flacon:
Flacon is a virtual storage bottle. We already have means to store large amounts of data in various devices but are these devices trendy? I guess no and you mostly have to hide these devices under the computer table or cover them with a silk cloth! However, this one is different and you will want to keep it in your living room just to show off in front of your friends and neighbors.
Flacon offers the way to casually enjoy large volumes of visuals with the images emerging on an inorganic electroluminescent display. You will also be able to project some images according to your emotions through a projector.
Gumi:
Gumi is a ubiquitous media chip that is edible after you. No, I am not kidding but this is true. A media chip that you can eat like a chewing gum after use.
These RFID chips hold the usage rights to images and the music that is available on the network and these chips are packed in a gummy capsule, which makes them edible after use. You can also connect the play unit of Gumi to use it as an audio player, or connect it to a display to enjoy visual content. The chips will be sold in packages like candies and blank chips on which you can write your favorite data will be available.
Wacca:
This will the most trendy bracelet that you will ever see and will love to wear it on a party. These bracelets will be worn like an accessory but obviously not an ordinary one. This device will have an opening through which it will capture visual images in the angles adapting the distance from the viewers' faces through distance sensors installed in the device. Users will also be able to browse through the visual images on its viewer and also display them just like a picture frame.
P-ISM:
This pen shaped device is actually a multi purpose Personal Networking Gadget Package.

This terminal enables showing of the surrounding atmosphere and group-to-group communication with a round display and a central super-wide-angle camera.
Duo-PC:
This Laptop will completely change your computing experience. This will integrate the COG technology and a short range wireless connection somewhat like Bluetooth, that will make this Laptop a totally different one. The Laptop will be flexible just like a paper, and will have a multi-layer hinge structure that will allow the user to open it as a single large display on a desk or as a Tablet PC and a book browser for mobile use.
Duo-Phone:
This hi-tech phone will come equipped with a detachable display that will make it more like a conventional video camera. Other main features of this phone will be a photo sensor and a next-generation bar code reader. The Phone can also be used as a mouse for the Duo-PC and a remote control also.
