What can be the reason behind iPod dissimilar pricing?
The fact, as revealed by Business Week, that the $249 Apple's iPod Nano costs $592 in Argentina while you can get the same for just $248 in Tokyo, $299 in Shanghai, $286 in London, and $299 in Moscow is enough to spin consumers mind.

Therefore, it is better to avoid any authorized dealers, as we do here in India and save Apple from making a hell lot of bucks or get in touch with your friends in New York and get it shipped. The same is the case with iBook, which costs $999 in the NYC and a mind-boggling $1480 in Buenos Aires. The best way is to compare rates on the Internet before sealing the deal.
The exact reason behind this off the mark strategy, apart from the company's whims and the country's taxation policy, is really unacceptable and incomprehensible.
