
Now US customers are feeling more secure and safe while monitoring their home over the web. People are using web alarms or emergency message network to monitor their home and office. The web alarm or mobile alert reaches more than 100,000 people within a minute.
Recently, Total Computer Group (TCG) has unveiled security technology to identify criminals. The company is working on the software to help police departments to access crime records through handheld device, which is linked to a Microsoft’s supported database. The system will help police to check their daily routine identity for criminal record. The company has already signed a deal with 58 police departments in Pennsylvania and 20 new departments in New York state. The company also talking with authorities of United Kingdom with the Sultan of Brunei to implement the system.
While the company, named InGrid has developed a web-accessible security system to warn and communicate at the same time. The technology is based on wireless sensors, which are placed at many points inside a home. These sensors are linked to both a handheld device and password protected website. The sensors provide users with a real time information about their home. The system will provide an efficient platform for collecting data of all sorts.
Recently, Honeywell has also upgraded a system, named Instant Alert Plus technology used by schools in alerting students about danger. The technology can make 100,000 phone calls of 30-seconds and send 125,000 text messages within 15 minutes.
