Web 2.0 is the millionth word in English Language

While many were expecting "Jai Ho" to be the millionth word after the astounding success of the movie Slumdog Millionaire at the Oscars, but the winner emerged to be "Web 2.0." This gives us a great opportunity to rejoice, for we all belong to the Web 2.0 brigade and therefore it makes us winners too. The Global Language Monitor cited it as the millionth word at 5:22 AM Eastern Time. While many language experts would say that Web 2.0 is a phrase, it got through for fulfilling the criteria that 60% of the world is familiar with it.
