Wearable Robot sits on your shoulder to facilitate teleconferences

Just recently we were acquainted with a wearable control for robots, and now here we have a robot that can be worn on the shoulder, what transformation. Developed by engineers at Tsumaki Telerobotics Laboratory at Yamagata University, in Japan, the Wearable Robot (unlike those exoskeletons we’ve seen) is a telepresence robot hooked up to a mobile person making teleconferences utterly simply for the aged and the differently abled, that’s not limited, even you could try it. Robot looks to where you look and what the robot sees is transmitted to the user via the specially made goggles. More in the video demonstration after the jump.
