Who says Iron Man does not exist in reality? Well, the real Iron Man showed his very existence in Shanghai, China. This Iron Man is a Chinese native, Wang Kang, who planned to surprise his colleagues in office by appearing and disguising in a body suit of Iron Man. The Iron Man suit was created by the 25-year old as he was greatly inspired by renowned Hollywood star, Robert Downey Junior’s, 2008 movie ‘Iron Man’.

Wang put in efforts of some three and a half months to build the metallic suit. On June 3, 2011 he planned to wear it and attend office in the same suit. However he was stopped by the office security and had to assure them that he was an employee of the same office. People around him were speechless but on recognizing him were full of admiration and started congratulating him. The Iron Man was clicked by almost everyone before he took to streets for getting more praise. Soon he became a hit on ‘Weibo- China’s internet platform similar to Twitter’ where his pictures were later put on.
Wang achieved his target of creating this peaceful Iron suit in the living room of his rented apartment by spending only 3,000 Yuan ($460). The armor is built using high density foam, wires and tubes whereas its heart is made of glass. The entire suit is 1.85 meters high, weighs 50 kilograms, but is easier to put in.
