Wacom lets DJs drool with its wirelessly controlled Nextbeat system

Touchscreen turntables intend to make life simpler for the DJs; we’ve seen the much appreciated ATTIGO TT by Scott Hubbs from Dundee University aspire the same, and now it’s time to get acquainted with the Nextbeat system from a more profound name, Wacom. Wacom’s Nextbeat is a fully integrated professional DJ system that allows a DJ to play around with tracks and beats by touchscreen controls. The wirelessly controlled device incorporating live performance functions leaves the DJ free to enjoy a groove or to on his own creation. Wacom is expected to make the Nextbeat available in selected regions this summer, but there is no word on the pricing.
