Sharp is practicing with handy technology that will be able to bridge the communication-gap emerged between two people due to the ignorance of language. The portable device can translate the spoken Japanese into English and vice-versa with the help of IBM speech recognition software technology. The device will hit the stall-shelves this fall season costing around ¥60,000.

Well that's a cool idea! I don't understand Chinese. So I hope Sharp will sooner or later introduce the device that will help me to chat with Chinese guys.
