Apparently, it’s a jungle rule out there. First, credit cards killed the wallet and now mobile phones are ready to gobble up the credit cards; and Visa International and Nokia Corp. will make sure it happens soon.



The ‘Mobile Visa Wave Payment Pilot’ project launched by the two giants is in fact the world’s first credit card payment pilot system soon to be launched in Malaysia. So, no more card swiping, just touch and go, the radio frequencies will do the rest of the job, ultimately turning your phones into electronic wallets.
