Vintage Typewriter parts morphed into Sexy 6’ Foot Sculpture

Posted By: Vinod Sharma | Feb 2 2010

One just couldn’t think before Jeremy Mayer that typewriter parts can be reassembled into a Sexy 6’ Foot Sculpture. Named as Nude IV aka Delilah, this sculpture is entirely made from 50 vintage typewriter parts that Jeremy meticulously took apart and reassembled to give it a present shape.

Jeremy took inspiration from the art work of his friend Brent Clifford’s paintings of robot women in very sexy reclined poses. And its name Delilah came from two sources: the story of Samson and Delilah and Delilah Brown – a woman who modeled for the piece.

This intriguing artwork that took Jeremy 1,400 hours in the past year is on display at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno, Device Gallery in San Diego and Ripley’s Believe it or Not museums. This Sexy sculpture can all be yours for $20,000.
